Karighatta quadrangular temple at the top of the hill is a major attraction of this place during the fair season and the rest of the days in the year it's renowned for its beautiful view from the top.
If you are thinking to take a break from the hustle-bustle of cities and enjoy the short break without much traveling, Karigatta is the perfect place. the curvy and hairpin roads gives real pleasure to ride across it.
"Karighatta" gets its name from the dark dense grass covering this beautiful mini hill. The place has a very old Krishna temple which is recently rejuvenated. This place is usually less crowded and is very near to the famous Nimishamba temple of Srirangapattana.
You can enjoy the views of beautiful rose farms on the way and also buy the yummy gulkand.
The sunset views from the hilltop is a scenic and wonderful sight to behold. Every frame is picture-worthy. The bike rides to this place are blissful.
Snacks and food facility is not available at the top of the hill, it's advised to take some snacks and water bottle with you
